Welcome to

Time To Thrive.

At Time To Thrive, I gently guide and support you through the challenges of divorce, helping you heal, grow, and move forward with hope and self-confidence.

My approach

Divorce can feel like the unraveling of everything familiar — but it can also mark the beginning of something deeply meaningful and new. At Time To Thrive, my approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and unwavering support. I meet you exactly where you are, walking beside you through the uncertainty, grief, and tough decisions, always with compassion and without judgment.

As someone who has walked this path myself, I know the pain, the fear, and the deep questioning that can come with the end of a marriage. I also know that healing is possible — and that with the right support, you can move forward with dignity, grace, and strength you may not even know you have yet.

My passion is to help others not only navigate this transition but emerge stronger, more self-assured, and ready to embrace a hopeful new beginning. Together, we’ll work to rebuild your confidence, rediscover your voice, and help you thrive in your next chapter.

Not Sure What’s Next?

Let’s Figure it out together.

Divorce isn’t just a single decision — it’s a series of choices, each one carrying emotional weight and financial pressure. Maybe you’re still unsure whether to stay or go. Maybe you’ve decided to leave but don’t know where to start. Or maybe the decision was made for you, and now you’re left trying to figure out how to move forward without draining your savings in the process. Wherever you are, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m here to help you clear the fog, find your footing, and regain a sense of control. With practical guidance, proven strategies, and compassionate support (plus a little tough love when needed), you’ll avoid costly missteps and start making confident, informed decisions.

Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your life — one that brings clarity instead of chaos and helps you and your children (if you have them) move ahead with strength, stability, and yes — more peace of mind and money in your pocket.

Ready to take the first step? I’ve got you.

Hi, I’m Lisa!

Hi I’m Lisa. I’m so glad you’re here!!! I have 25 years experience educating and working with others. I am a DCA Certified ADR Divorce Coach. I’m a wife, mother to two wonderful children, and proud grandmother to two energetic grandsons. At my core, I’m an educator — I hold a master’s degree in education and have always been passionate about helping others grow, learn, and reach their potential.

My journey into divorce coaching began with my own experience. Having gone through divorce myself, I understand all too well the emotional toll, the uncertainty, and the deep need for steady, compassionate support during such a difficult time. That personal experience lit a fire in me to help others move through their own transitions with dignity, strength, and hope for what’s ahead.

When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me walking and being outdoors, golfing, or cheering on our daughter at one of her many dance activities. I also treasure any time spent with family and friends — they are truly the heart of my life.

"Working with Lisa at Time To Thrive was one of the best decisions I made during my divorce. I came to her feeling overwhelmed, scared, and unsure of what steps to take. She met me with such compassion and calm, and helped me make clear, confident decisions when everything felt chaotic. She didn’t just help me survive the process — she helped me start to believe in myself again. I’m so grateful for her support, wisdom, and the steady presence she was when I needed it most."

Starting Over: What You Need to Know About Divorce and How a Divorce Coach Can Help

Divorce is one of the most challenging transitions a person can face. Whether it was a long time coming or came as a surprise, the process can feel overwhelming—legally, emotionally, and practically. If you’re feeling lost, scared, or unsure of your next steps, know this: you are not alone, and there is support available to help you move forward with clarity and strength.

    ||What Is Divorce, Really?||

Divorce isn’t just a legal event. It’s a life transformation. It affects your identity, your finances, your relationships, and your future. While each divorce is unique, many people face similar questions:

What are my rights and responsibilities?*

    How do I co-parent effectively?*

What will life look like after the divorce is final?*

How do I take care of myself through all this?*

These questions are valid—and they deserve thoughtful, compassionate answers.

    ||Why Work With a Divorce Coach?||

As a divorce coach, I help individuals navigate this process with greater clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience. Think of me as your partner through the chaos. I’m not an attorney or therapist, but I work alongside those professionals to help you:

    * Understand your options and get organized

    * Communicate more effectively with your ex or co-parent

    * Regain your sense of self-worth and direction

    * Make empowered decisions rather than reactive ones

My goal is to help you move from confusion to confidence—and ultimately, from heartbreak to healing.

    ||You’re Not Alone||

Divorce may feel like an ending, but it’s also a beginning. A chance to rediscover who you are, rebuild your life on your terms, and write your next chapter with intention.

If you're considering divorce, in the middle of it, or adjusting to post-divorce life, I invite you to reach out. In future posts, I’ll share tools, strategies, and insights to help you move forward with strength and purpose.

You’ve already taken a brave first step—now let’s walk this path together.

    With care,

    Lisa

  • What Is A Divorce Coach?

What Is Divorce Coaching — And How Can It Help You Thrive?

Divorce is more than a legal process — it’s a life transformation. And while attorneys focus on courtrooms and paperwork, divorce coaching focuses on you — your emotional clarity, your decisions, your future.

At Time To Thrive, divorce coaching is about guiding you through one of life’s most challenging transitions with strength, self-awareness, and strategy. It’s about helping you not only survive divorce — but thrive through it.

So What Is Divorce Coaching, Really?

Divorce coaching is a confidential, one-on-one support process that empowers you to navigate your divorce with clarity and confidence. Unlike therapy, which often focuses on the past, divorce coaching is future-focused and solution-oriented.

As your coach, I work with you to:

Clarify what you want (and don’t want) from this process
Identify emotional triggers and build resilience
Develop communication strategies for co-parenting and negotiations
Understand your rights, options, and next steps
Make informed, intentional decisions that reflect your values
Whether you're contemplating divorce, in the middle of it, or struggling in the aftermath, coaching offers a structured space to sort it all out.

An Alternative Approach That Puts You In Control

One of the most powerful tools we use at Time To Thrive is Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) — a collaborative, non-adversarial approach to resolving conflict. You don’t have to get dragged into a bitter legal battle to move forward.

    I help you:

Use ADR strategies (like mediation preparation and conflict coaching)
Communicate more clearly with your spouse or co-parent
Set realistic goals for negotiations and parenting plans
Protect your emotional well-being while advocating for your needs
You gain control over your process — instead of letting the process control you.

This Is Where You Reclaim Your Power

Divorce can feel like you’re losing everything — your identity, your stability, your voice. But it doesn’t have to end that way. In fact, it can be the beginning of something stronger.

When we work together, you’ll build:

Clarity — about what matters to you and what comes next
Confidence — to speak up, show up, and make aligned decisions
Strength — emotional, mental, and strategic
Renewal — because you deserve more than just getting through it

This isn’t just about ending a chapter. It’s about writing the next one with intention.

You Don’t Have To Do This Alone

The divorce process is full of decisions, emotions, and unknowns. You don’t need to figure it all out on your own — and you definitely don’t need to do it in survival mode.

As your divorce coach, I’m in your corner. With tools, strategy, and compassionate support, I’ll help you make your way through this process with clarity and grace — and come out the other side thriving.
